Behavior Camp is an intensive, short-term, outpatient behavioral therapy package that includes caregiver training, client advocacy, community supports, and more. This package is designed for individuals who need help with behavior change, but do not need or qualify for ongoing intensive Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
Assessment begins with a one-hour consultation session. A behavior analyst will meet with you to discuss the nature of your behavioral needs, your goals for therapy, and a treatment plan. Following this appointment, your clinician will provide an estimate of services that outlines the duration of therapy, a session schedule, and price. Behavior camp typically lasts between 1-10 weeks, dependent on client needs. Follow-up sessions occur intermittently to maintain progress and address changing needs over time.
Once therapy begins, sessions occur in the client's natural environment; we come to you! Your session schedule will be completely individualized to your or your child's need dependent on where and when the most behavioral support is required (e.g., at school, at home, during outings).
-a comprehensive and customized behavior management system (including materials such as data sheets and visual aids)
-a behavior change protocol (guide for implementing the system)
-introduction to the new behavior management system with the clinician
-caregiver training
-client advocacy as needed to implement these tools across settings (e.g., meeting with school/work staff to discuss client needs)
-a comprehensive report of progress and future recommendations (e.g., with respect to behavioral therapy and other services that may benefit the client)
-ongoing support and follow-up sessions to maintain progress
-children/teens with challenging behavior
-children/teens who have been "kicked out" of previous placements (treatment, school, or living)
-children/teens with ADD/ADHD
-children/teens with OCD
-children/teens with ODD
-children/teens with anxiety
-children/teens with emotional dysregulation
-children/teens with ASD
*Although Behavior Camp is not a replacement for early-intensive-behavior-intervention (EIBI, or ongoing ABA) for young children diagnosed with ASD, it can be a nice addition to these services for children whose parents feel they need more support at home*
-teens/adults who need ongoing support with self-management (see "self-management coaching" on our home page instead)
-professionals who need ongoing support for themselves or their clients (see "professional training" on our home page instead)
Because Behavior Camp is completely individualized to each client's specific needs; there is not a set price for camp. However, an in-person consultation appointment to discuss and plan for your Behavior Camp is a flat fee of $250/hr. *Restrictions apply*
*This rate is based on a 1 hour, in-person appointment. Additional charges will be incurred for appointments lasting longer than 1 hour or for visits outside of our standard service area.*
